s4j, that’s me. Okay, my name isn’t really “s4j” of course, but my real name is unimportant. What’s important is that this is the place where I write what I want, when I want, about whatever I want. Some truly random things about me:

  • I like being alone
  • I’m opinionated
  • I’m female, married, and have two kids
  • I live in Germany, but I’m not German
  • I drive fast, so the German Autobahn works for me
  • I’m a cat person
  • I’m a fabric artist and web professional
  • I’ve been online since the early 90’s, and blogging elsewhere since 2005
  • I like a wide variety of music, from 80’s pop to today’s alternative metal bands
  • I like a sure thing, so I watch my favorite movies over and over
  • I read fantasy, sf, and trashy Regency romances

I hate writing “About” pages, since no matter what I write here, it’s not the big picture and you really can’t figure out what I’m “about” without reading at least a few posts here. If you insist on some “nutshell” type of thing, you can get a vague idea of why I’m here if you read Birth of a Blog.
